This core RAK service provides FREE information and advice for asylum-seekers and refugees on:

  • Immigration (Level 3)
  • Welfare benefits
  • Education
  • Housing
  • Utilities - Gas, water, elecrtricity
  • Access to health – doctors & hospitals
  • Access to schools - primary & secondary

We speak a number of languages including English, French, Farsi and Arabic and Sinhalese.  Korean interpreters can be provided on drop-in days.

We are registered with the OISC (Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner)  to give immigration advice to level 3, and also hold Avice Quality Standard Accreditation (ACS)

Where we cannot help we refer to solicitors and other specialist help.

How?

Come to our office on Wednesday or Friday mornings between 9 - 9.30am when will give you a same day appointment with one of our advisors.

Drop-in sessions will take place;

  • Wednesday, 9.30 am - 12.30 pm
  • Fridays 9.30 am - 12.30 pm
