Refugee Action Kingston requires a

Volunteer Programme Co-ordinator

21 hours per week, £24536 pro rata (including O.L.W, pay award pending)

6 month fixed term contract, starting in October 2008

  

This exciting role will involve recruiting and supporting volunteers to deliver R.A.K’s projects and services, with a focus on volunteers who are refugees or asylum seekers. It will also involve facilitating volunteer placements and employment opportunities for refugees and asylum seekers.

 You should have experience of working with volunteers and of offering advice or services to vulnerable groups.
